Not just for bread anymore

I've tried a different beer these last two weekends. Two beers. Two of the same. One each weekend. The first taste to hit the palate before the rest go down. I've heard a few stories about "wheat beer" and often wondered what it tasted like. It finally happened. I took a chance and tried a Hacker Pschorr Weiss beer. What a nice taste. Now that is a beer.

I can’t discriminate all the different taste idiosyncrasies of beer so I don’t use statements like, “hops dominate the nose” and such. But I know what I like. It’s unfortunate that it costs more than “regular” beer, but I guess that if you want a great tasting beer, and only want one, foot the $2.40 for a bottle and try this beer.

Wheat beer. Great stuff. From a country across the ocean. Somewhere.
