What the hell...

This is a scan of page 15 of the Tiger Direct catalog I received recently. Now, can someone tell me what Windows Vista Premium has to do with a monitor? The whole concept presented here is ludicrous and may border on false and misleading advertising.

"Oh, so your desktop computer with Vista doesn't display graphics correctly? Well, here's what you need... a Vista monitor." Pfft!

By the way, the Tiger Direct web site has the same model monitor with a different description AND a different price.

This is crazy.

The ol' switcheroo

This is a very good commercial with a nice soundtrack. It features an attractive brunette and a guy in the lobby of a hotel. A key is passed. The rest is surprising.

Thanks to MissCellania.

Flattened!

Some guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time. A big rig he was driving next to flips over, crushing his car with him in it, flattening his car like an empty beer can.

Miraculously, he walks away from the accident with his 15 seconds of fame.

Cook food on your engine

This article is not how to make a unique engine-block barbecue. It's about actually cooking food on your car's hot engine.

Sounds interesting, and, hey, there's still enough time left before Ol' Man Winter gets here for you to try it. How about this weekend?

The how-to article is here.

Kelly

Kelly Brook is a very sexy British model and actor. There's a great video montage of her in various poses and photo shoots somewhere on YouTube.

Oh, look. Here it is.

Should get you through the week, I hope.

Viewer discretion is advised.

Mercedes-Benz Silverflow

This concept is very futuristic with trends from the Art Deco era of the 1930s. At least that's what it appears like to me.

This machine will be constructed of a miracle material that could morph away dents and dings and also transform the car into a body style depending on the application at hand.

Some a lot like science fiction, but you can visit the demo site here.

Isuzu without Joe

Presented below is a nice watchable Izuzu commercial (? It's over 3 mins.) shot during the 1980s without any heroics from Joe Isuzu. One could call this a car ballet or synchronized driving.

It has an ok hiphop/techno/girly music background, but it's well worth watching.
