Here's a great contraption for all you guys who just can't afford a strap-on jet pak.
Insert your head, fire it up and plant your butt on the tiny seat. Take it around the meadow for a few hot laps.
Shatner-ese: What! Will they think of! Next?
Check it out.

Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse in color
Many of us have seen this video at some point in our lives. The Tacoma Narrows Bridge, or "Galloping Gertie," caught some high winds back in 1940 and the combination of poor engineering and the forces of nature caused its imminent collapse.
But here is some interesting footage of the same incident but photographed in color.
The proximity of the people in the video to the swaying bridge span gives us a whole new perspective on the scale of the resonance of the sway.
Enjoy the video below.

Teamwork - what's step #2?

A truck is on its side in a road. You have the muscle power to upright it and get it back in service.
But wait. Have you thought about the next step, after all four wheels are on the ground?
Oops.
Maybe next time.

New York mob gets frozen

Flash mobs. Something new (?) for this millenium.
Gather together a crowd of people and instill in them the mission statement: On cue, freeze right where you are. Wait a few moments. Unfreeze as if nothing happened.
One such flash mob paid a visit to New York's Grand Central Station. The effects are amazingly bizarre; curious, funny, yet slightly scary at the same time.
Check out the video below.
