Homage to the Irish

When you think beer, which two nations come to mind first?

Germany and Ireland, right? Oktoberfest and St. Patrick's Day are like beer holidays.

As we saw on Sunday, Rammstein is preparing for Oktoberfest with a festive take on their typically heavy concerts.

Here's an Irish style drinking song for ya. Why wait until March?

Hip-Hop Violin

I've been dying to share this video since I first saw it. I think it is a great mash-up of classical and hip-hop. I think that even if you are not a fan of hip-hop, you will appreciate the artistic license taken by these two young artists. It just goes to show that pure talent will find a way to shine through.

6 minutes long, but worth it, I think.

Mazda "concept"

The ideaboys at Mazda have dreamed up a design for a concept car that defies the imagination. It's called the Mazda Taiki.

The lines of this car are... hmph. Well, the rear wheels...

This is very hard to describe. Take a look at more pics here.

What now?

All you need is know-how.

Polish barbershop

You gotta check out these pics taken at a barbershop in Poland. Don't know how much they charge for haircuts, but the once-every-five-weeks commute would wipe out your finances real quick.

Extreme ape-hangers

This is nuts. Imagine picking the bugs out of your armpits when you get home.

How long would it take for all the blood to drain out of your arms?

Your hands would go numb, wouldn't they?

I wonder if this guy's still alive.

Tough question

There cannot possibly be a correct answer.

Billboard soccer

Those wacky Japanese are at it again with a new idea for advertising: billboard soccer.

Passers-by are attracted to the live spectacle 10-stories up as a couple of daredevils kick a ball back and forth, all suspended by ropes.

Check out the video.
