More goofy signs

Another installment of signs that give one pause.

I especially like, enjoy, relish, favor, appreciate and admire the sign on the left.

Check out the pictorial here.

Three-piece iCombo band

I posted earlier about the iAno, an app that turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a piano.

Some guys have taken it a step further by combining the tonal abilities of other devices and created a musical selection.

Check out the video below.

Han Solo carbonite desk

Another episode of "More Money than Brains" brings you a custom-made computer desk featuring the likes of Han Solo in carbonite.

Imagine trying to think while working on a spreadsheet or document and glancing down at the visage of poor Han. Bleah!

There are a couple of nice photos and a brief explanation right here.

Ferrari Limo

Just when you thought you'd had your fill of stretch Hummers and Ford Excursions comes this monstrosity, a stretch Ferrari.

Another cash black hole for all those dudes with dough who want to impress the crap out of anyone who will glance their way.

(I wonder what it sounds like and how good is the 0-60 time.)

Check out the pictorial here.

Rabid sports fans

You've seen the leather guys in the stands at the Raiders' games, the cheeseheads at the Packers' games and any of the thousands of topless fat guys in 15-degree weather.

Rabid sports fans are a bizarre bunch to be sure. Take a look of some of the more over-the-top fans from games around the world.

(Note: some shots may be NSFW.)

When it really blows

You've probably heard of or seen windmill farms perched on hilltops or dotting the landscape in some countries. The seem to be a viable way of generating electricity just by using an ever present natural occurrence.

But what happens when the wind kicks up? And I mean, REALLY kicks up?

The design limits of the mill are reached and things start to fall apart.

Take a look.
