Joe Isuzu

Here's another great video of the world's greatest liar, Joe Isuzu.

This is an early clip from his childhood.

A visual representation of the Internet

This is a bit deep. One man decided to plot pictorially a view of the Internet connections at any given time. An Internet map, if you will.

It's amazing to view what we take for granted on a daily basis.

Speaking of porn...

...here's a pictorial of what the young lads were exposed to back in the Hippie days of the 1960's.

A lotta stuff was left to the imagination.

Porn?

I doubt it.

The link is one person's pictorial view of what women are looking for in a guy. There are quite a few pics, but porn for women? Pfft!

More like "What it would be like if you married a gay guy".

Click this link if you dare.

Nissan - innovative concepts

Nissan's been around awhile and a lot of us remember when it was called "Datsun". A certain Z-car comes to mind.

Nissan has recently shown off a concept car called the Pivo 2 at a show. It has no axles. It looks like a rubber squeezy-toy on wheels. It has some crazy goofy thing on the dash. Check out this video:

Nissan also has a great video ad demonstrating the principles behind independent front suspension.

Saturday Night Blue Collar Brew Review

As you may have figured out by now, I'm not a connoisseur of fine beers. I don't care about bouquets or nose greetings and all that other namby-pamby stuff. I just wanna get my beer on each Saturday night and think about it again on Sunday morning. I don't overdo it; I know when to stop. I'm here for the enjoyment. Not for the drunk.

I do, however, like variety, and I'm really diggin' this Saturday night new-beer-tasting routine that I thought I might give it a feature title and a label, and taste a different "exotic" beer each week. Yeah, I like that. So far, since SixPackTech has come into being, I've tasted Hacker-Pschorr, Tyskie, Miller Chill, Krusovice and offered my opinion. And now: another beer tasting review I'm gonna title "The Blue Collar Brew Review". Say that 10 times fast.

Today's Brew Review features an ale. I must confess, this is the first ale I've ever tasted. The brew is Riggwelter Black Sheep Yorkshire Ale. The bottle is 1 pint 0.9 ounces and ran me $3.49 at the local beer store. A bit on the expensive side for my tastes, but what the hell. I don't know what drew me to this particular beverage, perhaps it was the black ram waiting for a belly-rub on the label.

Took a swig from the bottle. MAN, what a surprise! This ale is very full flavored and announces to your whole mouth that it's arrived. It tastes thick and dark. If dark had a taste, this is it and it hangs around your palate like an old girlfriend.

This brew is big and bold. It looks big and bold in the mug showing off its dark caramel color and its thick head. It's like stuffing a hemi into a Pinto. At first, the taste reminded me of coffee, soy sauce, and then I remembered that bottle of Guinness I had about 8 months ago. It's a lot like that.

This is the beer/ale that I would keep maybe two bottles of and drink when Daylight Savings Time comes to an end, and then again when it returns. For a new experience in beer, try this brew at least once.

The Riggwelter Brewery has a little blurb on this brew here.

One man's view of the future of the computer industry

If you look at the big picture of the computer industry you see but gloss over information where Microsoft bought XYZ Company for $2.5 billion or Google bought ABC Company for $7.6 billion. But what does this mean to the average Joe like you and me?

We all have our pet rivalries. For me it's Mac vs. PC. Then there's the Microsoft crowd; the gamers vs. enterprise users. Then Open Source and its different flavors ("distros") of Linux. And of course the RIAA and the MPAA against the entire world.

All the big computer companies are vying to become king of the information hill when finally, the last big company buys up the last less-than-big company. When will that be and what will happen to us? Who knows. We can only take educated guesses based our our own knowledge of the facts presented to the public. A few surprises wait for us in the future as back-room business deals come out into the open.

This is Neil Sutton. He's the editor of ITBusiness.ca, an electronic news outlet based in Canada. I ran across one of his latest articles and I found it to be most interesting. Neil prognosticates on the future of the computer industry starting from the year 2001 and progressing to 2015. Most of his story surrounds Apple (the article is titled: Apple in 2015), but the details of his opinion of future trends make for a very thought provoking story that will throw your imagination into high gear. The article is a today view of tomorrow and is a must-read for any of you science fiction fans out there.

The article is strictly Mr. Sutton's opinion.

Please read his brief article here.

Gisele Bundchen? Is that you?

Gisele Bundchen is such a babe. I remember her memorable appearance in a "Get a Mac" tv ad from awhile ago.

I have found quite a different looking Gisele in a Victoria's Secret ad.

Ahh, what moves! What style! What grace!
