People with a lot of money or a very strange sense of humor design and build their own custom homes. To live in, no less.
Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, notwithstanding, some of these structures will have you scratching your head wondering "What were they thinking?"

Strange homes from around the world

Garfield without Garfield

Here's the idea: remove Garfield from the comic strip, and you have a sad portrait of Jon, a guy with a mental disorder.
Funny? Maybe you'll find some humor in this. Sad? Well, take a look right here and decide for yourself.
Redneck rollercoaster
"YEE-HAAHH! Hey, Uncle Daddy. Look whut we done bilt!"
Yep, down on the farm there's never a dull moment.
Some good ol' boys have rigged up their car with a sofa and a different center of gravity. With a moose skull for decoration. What fun! Especially after a few Old Milwaukees.
Watch as the clan has their fun and don't go thinkin' 'bout tryin' this down on yer spread, ya hear?
Filthy, messy, dirty tech
Over the years, I've opened up my share of computer boxes and other doodads and what was inside was usually not the prettiest thing to behold. Although I've never been surprised by snakes, rats, spiders, boogers or phlegm inside, the amount of dust bunnies, all congregated together inside some machines was sometimes enough to warrant taking the unit outside for a compressed air experience.
With that in mind, Gizmodo has compiled a collection of pix of some of the filthiest, dirtiest devices ever to count in binary.
Check out their putrid pictorial right here.
Craftsman ads
Craftsman has always been a name meaning quality and durability. The guarantee on Craftsman tools is one of the factors that gives mechanics and handymen a very good reason to shop for tools at Sears (and now KMart). But the Sears stores have fallen on hard times and are slowly falling apart.
If Sears does go down the dumper, I hope some other company snatches the Craftsman brand and their quality tools.
Here are some new print ads featuring the human body as never before seen, featuring Craftsman tools. Awesome.
