Shoulder belt pad with the right name

Seat belt harness bothering the Mrs. across her chest? Pick up the "Tiddy Bear". The idea is not unique, but the name sure is.
Tiddy Bear. Makes ya smile just sayin' it. It just rolls off your tongue. Imagine the fun you and Mama would have when you get in the car. "Don't forget your Tiddy Bear, dear."
Oh yeah. It's a legit product and it runs about $20 with S & H.

The Blackjack Zero

This is pretty cool... the Blackjack Zero kit car.
It's a three-wheeled runabout that you build yourself using a Volkswagen powertrain and other parts.
Prices for the kit on their website are listed in British pounds, but it looks like it would run you in the neighborhood of 6-grand USD.
Check out the site right here.

Abbreviation origins

More English language stuff, this time it's about abbr.s.
Where did the pound sign originate? (Not the "octothorpe" on a phone.)
Mrs., V.I.P. and the K for a strikeout in baseball.
Interesting and amusing with a dash of history thrown in free of charge.
Check it out here.

And Joanne is so easy on the eyes.
I urge you to click the link and watch this short clip. You'll come away a little more knowledgeable and smiling.
