April Fool's Day

I was going to foist an April Fool prank on you Readers but I figured that we're all above that. Rick-rolling seems to be a new trend going around the Internets and I have the video. But I figured, "Nah. How stupid can you get? Everybody's doing it."

Instead, I'll play nice. Shown below are some really great office prank pictures which are nondestructive but involve a lot of time, both in the setup and in the clean up.

Top 40 Photoshopped pictures

We've seen the power of Photoshop, the outrageously expensive Swiss Army Knife of photo editing and image manipulation.

To further demonstrate the uniqueness of the software and the talent of the artisans who use it, I present a link to a pictorial of 40 images which have been altered in crazy ways.

Four engine, all-wheel-drive Buick

Blast from the past. Years ago, a former TV star, Tommy Ivo got heavily into drag racing. He came up with some outrageous monsters, many of them being multi-engined, smoking beasts.

One of them was the Buick Riviera Wagon-Master which had four tilted and connected Buick engines which powered all four wheels.

This racer was soon banned by the NHRA and went on exhibition tours thereafter.

Table-top tapper

Some clever entrepreneurial types have devised a method of installing a beer tap at every table of their establishment, all the while keeping track of the amount of beer poured at all taps.

Saves wear and tear on the cocktail server and you won't have to wade into the crowd at the bar.

The technology that goes into this has been around for years. It's just nobody thought to tap into the idea (groan.)

I found myself damn-near mesmerized by the whole video and was so disappointed when it ended 2 1/2 minutes later.
