Hummer scooter

Don't get your pee boilin' over this idea. It's a figment of someone's fertile imagination.

There's a well-known automotive illustrator named Oberdan Bezzi who's rendered some amazing drawings of futuristic vehicles in the past and this is one of his latest ideas: A Hummer scooter.

This appears to be one of those ridiculous ➨ sublime imaginings.

You can read a little more about it here.

Singing Ringing Tree

It looks a little like a tree. Rather, it's art. A sculpture located in East Lancashire, England, that sings with the wind.

It doesn't sing any Neil Diamond tunes, thank goodness, but it does emit odd and eerie tones when the wind kicks up.

Can you call it a kinetic sculpture? It surely does something... it performs. But it doesn't move.

When the wind is blowing at the right clip, the pipes pipe up and perform.

If you've ever played MYST, this tree will audibly transport you back to those mysterious lands and the search for the D'ni manuscripts.

Check out the video below.

If you can't keep up, takes notes!

I'm a firm believer that guys just can't multi-task. Women seem to have no problem. Just camp out in the kitchen the next time she cooks you up some bacon, eggs and hash browns. With toast and jelly.

Lots of fryin' an' smells an' bangin' an' hoopla goin' on at the stove. Then whammo! It's all there in front of you. Together on a plate or two. All hot and ready to eat.

But I digress. Getting back to the multi-tasking thing, here's a humorous video about exactly that and a product geared toward students. It's a cool pen which aids and abets us poor male schlubs who have trouble with Restless Mind Syndrome and multi-tasking.

Watch below.

D.I.Y. camera stabilizer for under a buck

This looks pretty slick: a diy cam stabilizer you can make using parts from the garage.

Don't know exactly how well this works, but after watching the video, and determining the cost of parts, I just might try it with my $29.95 Yamaguchi Tsunami camera/USB hub.

Check out the short video on how to build it and how to use it.
