Perhaps you've seen images of Japanese commuters getting assisted sardine packing while boarding the morning train. Yeah, they really pack 'em in there.
The people know that this is a way of life. I would imagine that it's generally accepted. But imagine what happens inside once the doors close. The sounds. The smells. The groping. Yeesh!
Check out this human sardine packing video. Unbelievable.

Top 10 most extreme custom cars
The Blastolene B-702 is by far the most outrageous motor vehicle ever concieved. Something out of a 1930s comic book, perhaps. But there it is.
Read about it and the other nine cars, including a Chevy Caprice on 30-inch rims right here.

10 freaky car crashes
This will have you scratching your head, wondering how this could have happened.
Autos shown in various states of wreckage are photographed after the crash. The accompanying text gives a brief explanation, but still. How does stuff like this happen?

A different kind of car race
Think you've seen it all? Think again. Here's a car race the rednecks would be envious about.
It's a British Demolition Derby of sorts but this time, the cars are pulling small, gutted vacation trailers around the track.
Ridiculous. Ludicrous. Hilarious.
Who's gonna clean up the mess?
Watch below.

Sweet Home Alabama, Finnish-Russian style
It is truly, truly amazing the crap that you can find on the Web. Remember the post of the Japanese orchestra performing Smoke on the Water? Thought that was bizarre?
Here's another one in a similar vein. The Leningrad Cowboys from Finland and the Red Army Choir from Russia perform Sweet Home Alabama.
This one's actually not bad. They pretty much nail the song but the costumes of the Cowboys are something out of a fantasy comic book or an LSD flashback.
That and the Russians all nicely lined up behind, make for a truly baffling performance. When this is done, you will sit back in your chair and wonder what the hell it was that you just watched. Try to explain this to a friend.
The song will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. You're welcome.

Ode to a Ford revisited
Remember my post from not to long ago called "Ode to Ford?" It's a short video of an orchestra playing music on Ford parts. The original post is here.
At the time, I had some questions concerning the authenticity of this video and kind reader Den, submitted the answer. As it turns out, Ford is just pulling a fast one on us.
Check out the video below for the absolute truth. And hold on to your ears.
Thanks Den.

Artefacto - The surrealism of Saul Rojas
There is a young man who has barely broken into his second decade of life on this planet. Medium height, medium build and if you passed him on the street or at the mall, you'd never give him a second glance. He's just a young dude struggling along with life as many of us are. However, unknown to all but a few people, Saul Rojas is a living, human container teeming with with artistic creativity.
Saul is just another face behind a box at the warehouse where we work and few people know that he has lightning embedded in his fingertips and a sack of creativity in his brain. After a stint at the local college art classes, Saul has garnered a prestigious acceptance to the Art Institute of Chicago where he aspires to finish his studies and go on to change the world one brush stroke at a time.
I've seen some of Saul's artwork. It's any mixture of pen, pencil, paint, or pixels in a Photoshop graphic. It's different. It's unique. I can only wonder what was going through his mind as the images appeared on canvas or on the screen. I don't claim to be an art critic, but I know what I like. It takes a knack, I guess, to get some meaning out of a rendering. More than that to put meaning into one.
Saul may be just another struggling artist, but I thought I'd give him a little exposure with an article on this website. In the near future I may not see him anymore as he makes his way to Chicago to further hone his talents. I'd like to show some of his artwork right here so that the readers can see what the surrealism of Saul Rojas is. Whatever you may think about art or drawings from beyond the Ort Cloud, hold out a ray of hope for this young lad. He deserves it.

Whadda YOU lookin' at?
Do you wear glasses? How about contact lenses? Ever watch someone install contacts in their eyes? Creepy, I'd say.
If you wear contacts, you may want to add a little extra pizzazz to your optical orbs by wearing a set of special effects contact lenses. For a coupla hundies, you could creep out the entire accounting department. Yeah, Black Sclera is what I'm talkin' about.

Redneck rollercoaster
"YEE-HAAHH! Hey, Uncle Daddy. Look whut we done bilt!"
Yep, down on the farm there's never a dull moment.
Some good ol' boys have rigged up their car with a sofa and a different center of gravity. With a moose skull for decoration. What fun! Especially after a few Old Milwaukees.
Watch as the clan has their fun and don't go thinkin' 'bout tryin' this down on yer spread, ya hear?
Filthy, messy, dirty tech
Over the years, I've opened up my share of computer boxes and other doodads and what was inside was usually not the prettiest thing to behold. Although I've never been surprised by snakes, rats, spiders, boogers or phlegm inside, the amount of dust bunnies, all congregated together inside some machines was sometimes enough to warrant taking the unit outside for a compressed air experience.
With that in mind, Gizmodo has compiled a collection of pix of some of the filthiest, dirtiest devices ever to count in binary.
Check out their putrid pictorial right here.

Ferrari Limo
Just when you thought you'd had your fill of stretch Hummers and Ford Excursions comes this monstrosity, a stretch Ferrari.
Another cash black hole for all those dudes with dough who want to impress the crap out of anyone who will glance their way.
(I wonder what it sounds like and how good is the 0-60 time.)
Check out the pictorial here.

Rabid sports fans
You've seen the leather guys in the stands at the Raiders' games, the cheeseheads at the Packers' games and any of the thousands of topless fat guys in 15-degree weather.
Rabid sports fans are a bizarre bunch to be sure. Take a look of some of the more over-the-top fans from games around the world.

World's most annoying toy
Jesus jumpin' jeronies! This is just terrible. How could a kid get any enjoyment out of this?
Oh, wait. I know. It's a "get even" toy.
Let this thing loose when you're pissed at the guy in the next cubicle. Use it over the P.A. system at work. Make prank phone calls.
The manufacturer should be shut down.
Watch the video below. The guy's facial expression is priceless.

10 strange looking dog breeds
Dogs have been bred for different qualities for centuries: hunting, pointing, herding, etc. But some poor mutts have been bred for a certain quality, namely appearance.
Some of the dogs shown ya just gotta feel sorry for. Others, ya gotta smile at how they look.
Whatever your take on this, check out 10 of the strangest looking breeds of dogs. Then go give a Shih-Tsu a treat.

Warning! Speed bump ahead
Just ran across this article on the Audi TT. According to the writer (in the shell of a nut) not much is known about this vehicle. Except that "tunning" is spelled wrongly.
The pictures, though, bring to mind many questions such as, how does it handle railroad crossings? How long does it take to change a flat tire once a corner of the car is splatted right on the ground? Is it only available in Rhinovirus Green?
Check out the pictures. Then make those tsk-tsk noises your Aunt Eleanor made when you busted that guy's window with an errant baseball.

World's largest Star Wars action figure collection
Jesus Tap Dancing Christ! This guy's got a flotilla of Star Wars wee ones. Hundreds. Thousands. Maybe Brazilians.
So he's got the money to buy all this flotsam. He's got the space to put them all. And he's got the displays to show 'em off.
I'm completely flummoxed. Is there a shrink in the house?
Gizmodo has an interview with the guy (who surprisingly speaks normally) and many, many, many photos of his stuff.
Guys like him make guys like George Lucas smile.

Sit here. No, here. No, here.
Here's another brilliant idea the marketing boys have come with: the Hawaii Chair. A swiv'ling, swirling seat for your dull, drab derriere.
Just sit down (turn it off first) and whirl your way to a shapelier backside. Or something.
Guaranteed to please those who watch more than those who sit and spin.
Check out the video below. And that guy's eyebrows.
