Not quite on the level

This is a very funny British comedy sketch which is a bit long in the tooth but still a classic.

At first you may think the guy is drunk. Not so.

Clever idea and well executed. Oh, and funny.

The best game ever!

Not quite a flash mob, not quite Candid Camera, this is a heartwarming video of a classy prank played an a California little league team. There's no cruelty involved but perhaps rather a gesture of faith in our youth.

Let's take an average little league baseball game and make the players feel like they're in the big leagues.

You'll be tickled.

Watch the video below, then check out this link for more info on this event.

Amazing web cam scene

A young lady sends a web cam message to her boyfriend.

She's sitting there in her robe and decides to reveal some amazing cleavage.

It's truly not to be believed. You must see this.

Sundial clock idea that just might work

This is so cool. A sundial clock using bulbs instead of the sun.

Called the "Bulbdial Clock," it's just an idea for right now.

Personally, I hope some company picks up on this. Talk about a conversation starter at parties...

More info here.

Wearable motorcycle airbag

I've seen pictures of a motorcycle airbag that deploys from the dashboard, but that doesn't afford any protection if you put the bike down on her side.

This idea is for an airbag that the rider wears on his back. If he gets too far out of the vertical, the bag deploys across the shoulders and can offer some upper body protection when going down.

How soon before we see these? Maybe a coupla two-tree years. Watch the video.

This guy needs a little companionship.

The crafty canine devises a way to get out and hang with friends.

Wendy's commercial we've never seen

... and probably never will. This is an interesting take on the Wendy's spicy chicken (parts) sandwich.

I find it quite humorous. You may, as well.

Why it wasn't shown is beyond me.

Watch it below.

Did you oversleep again?

Did Daylight Savings time kick you in the keister? Up late last light playing video games? Were you dreaming about Jessica Alba again and slept right through the alarm? Was there a power failure at 3 a.m.? Is that what's troubling you, Bunky?

Well, wake up and smell the bacon! Get yourself a new alarm clock, one that's guaranteed to rouse you and make it easier to get your ass out of bed.

Check out these unique alternatives to the traditional waker-upper.

The Time Shop revisited

Good things come to those who wait out a mystery. The Echo Park Time Travel Shop (posted yesterday, shown below) is a very clever fund raising idea for a non-profit organization called 826 National.

826 National is an innovative tutoring, writing, and publishing nonprofit based in seven cities across the country. To raise funds, inspire creativity, and advertise our programs to the local community, most of our centers include a street-front retail store filled with unusual products, entertaining signage, and, of course, our books for sale. San Francisco’s pirate supply store sells glass eyes and one-of-a-kind peglegs, 826NYC’s Superhero Supply Company offers custom-fit capes, Seattle’s Greenwood Space Travel Supply Company sells “rare imports from other planets,” 826 Michigan's Monsters Union Local specializes in bottling screams, 826LA features a time travel store, there's a secret agent supply store in Chicago, and a Cryptozoology shop in Boston is in the works!
Now ya see? It sounds pretty cool to me. A truly unique experience for those who participate in the program, as well as those who visit their one-of-a-kind stores.

Check out their site right here. When you're finished reading about the stores, click on their "About" tab, and read about the organization.

Tool kit belt buckle

It's got everything you need in case of emergency maintenance. All but a roll of duct tape and some baling wire.

The next time you're up on the antenna of the Sears tower and have to change a light bulb, just take off your belt if you forget that Phillips screwdriver.

Just don't let your pants fall. It may be hard climbing down if they do.

From Amazon - 20 bucks.

Miracle laundry additive

A short and sweet commercial for Coloreria Italiana, a dye or additive for the wash.

It's nicely made with a segue of the music as well as the whole sight gag thing.

Rattle-can Rembrandt

This is absolutely stunning! A sidewalk spray painter transforms a blank medium into a magnificent astronomical rendition using spray cans, a pie tin and magazine pages.

The ability to talk to animals.

What are they really saying?

A Bud Light ad has the answer.

That looks like YOU!

You can purchase a handcrafted doll-like polymer entity of yourself or a loved one. These are not bobble-heads. They have nothing to do with voodoo. Don't know if they make animal dolls or car dolls or celebrity dolls.

The price isn't bad when you consider it's a custom-made, one-of-a-kind figure that's guaranteed to impress your main squeeze or cause ripples of envy amongst your cohorts.

Their website has some flash, so bear with it when you check 'em out here.

D.I.Y. ghost

Quite cool and quite interesting. I'm surprised we haven't heard about this sooner... a build-it-yerseff ghost.

All you need is a length of moldable chickenwire and some time.

Here are a set of pictures on how to do it. Not a lot of instructions, just pictures.

Boo!

Interesting paper whatzit

Here's a neat little paper anomaly you can easily make which, when finished, will keep you and/or your friends busy for hours.

Step one: as you can see by the screen grab at left, first get some some left-handed scissors.

Step two: watch the video and try to keep up. Especially at the end.

How to clean your toilet

I hate cats. With that in mind, here are some tips on cleaning the commode:

Instructions on how to clean your toilet

1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.

2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids..

4. The cat will self agitate. You may need to stand on the lid and give the cat time to make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power-wash" and rinse".

6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can,and quickly lift both lids.

8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off.

9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.

So, what's the title of that lamp you're reading?

This is truly different. And it's not even USB powered.

The book lamp is a clever way to shed some subdued illumination on your library or study.

The only problem seems to be that it's powered off of AC. You may have to drill a hole in the back of the bookcase to snake the wire out.

Hmm. I wonder where the on/off switch is? Chapter 28?

Check out the site here.
