Mini Mac?

Apple rumors have been flying around on the fanboys sites and this one has me a little excited.

Maybe soon, Apple will introduce a tiny MacBook laptop with a 12" screen. The whole device will maybe be 1/2" thick. The rendering at the left is what a future ad may look like.

Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is scheduled to be announced sometime in October. This may come along with it.

Nano rumor

A couple of websites have received take-down notices from Apple for publishing this unauthorized pix of what the new iPod Nano will look like. Scuttlebutt has it that when Apple Legal sends out these notices, it surely means these sites have hit the nail too close to the head.

Rumors are floating around that Apple will announce a new generation of iPods in September and the Nano seems to be included. Many folks also think that, if the Nano is really going to look like that pic on the left, it's just butt-ugly. I dunno. Apple's engineers have been working on this product line for quite a while, I'm sure, and this Nano, ugly or not, will sell.
